Ashish Kumar

Indian Institute Of Technology, Roorkee
Student
I am a junior Mathematics and Computing student at Indian institute Of Technology. I'm also a member of SDSLabs, our college's tech organisation, which has created and shipped some fantastic projects. Recently, my ongoing projects would be katana, an attack and defence ctf platform build on k8s, a first of it's kind. Apart from this, ongoing projects include creating solution, collaborating with Government Of India regarding finding dark patterns in e-commerce space. Along with this, I also try to actively contribute to open source. My previous speaking experience from technical point of view ranges from taking talks and lectures under SDSLabs, to conduct, speak at and manage Syntax Error, an hackathon with 1000+ pan nation participants. I am also the DevOps Co-Lead for GDSC IIT Roorkee (Google Developer Student Clubs), which prompted me to take devops related lectures as well as provide mentorship to my juniors. Apart from this, from cultural point view, I am quite active in slam poetry space, bragging medals in inter college as well as a light hearted hobby, making me accustomed to speaking in general.
