David Buckhurst is Head of Software Engineering at the BBC leading the 300 engineers who build the BBC’s public service streaming media applications: iPlayer and Sounds. Flip-flopping between startups and big tech for many years ultimately led David to the BBC where he’s enjoyed multiple leadership roles, always at the intersection of people and technology.
