About me
Hello! I'm Priyansh Mehta, developer who loves tackling challenges and constantly learning new things. My favorite area is backend development because I enjoy building the behind-the-scenes technology that makes apps run smoothly. I'm always up for experimenting and discovering new tech solutions.
I'm excited to start working as a software engineer at Flipkart soon. I'm also a maintainer at Oppia, where I contribute to open source projects—a passion of mine. I've won four hackathons, lead the Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC) at IIIT Jabalpur, and I'm working on creating BitByte, a community aimed at helping everyone grow in tech.
Recently, I finished working on the Zowe App Store Project at the Open Mainframe Project. I'm also developing GetIt and Alumni Connect, two open-source projects of my own, and updating Looser Simulator 2, an Android game I created in college that now has over 5,000 downloads and 70 reviews on the App Store.
I have plenty of speaking experience, having led many sessions on open source, participated as a guest speaker at the Postman API 101 workshop, and currently, I've hosted HackByte 2.0—a 36-hour hackathon and one of India's biggest events, recognized by Major League Hacking.
