Werner studied computer and media security at Hagenberg Technical college and then worked at IBM for two years, where he wrote two Redbooks with colleagues. He has been working in the Linux area at Thomas-Krenn.AG since 2005. His previous roles include HA clusters, devops, 3rd level support, security & knowledge transfer. He has written ~ 1,000 articles in the Thomas-Krenn-Wiki and has actively contributed to the Linux kernel with several patches in the last year. He is also author of the “Linux Storage Stack Diagram”, active in the LPI and co-founder of the Thomas-Krenn Linux User Group.
